About My Ratings
Please note that all of my scores are my opinions only, and I do not try to give a purely objective view of any piece of work. For more nuanced takes, I write short reviews under the activity comments of anime that I complete. That being said, here is a rough idea of how I score my anime:5★ - Fantastic: These anime are the ones that everyone should at least try once. Many aspects of these shows stand out from the crowd. I give very, very few anime a 5, so these are the ones that have left a lasting impression on me in some way. They may not be perfect for each and every viewer, and some of them might be controversial picks, but I encourage you to at least check them out.
4★ - Excellent: 4 star anime are very, very good. Some of them are even great. However, none of these shows impacted me deeply enough to give them a must-watch rating. Yet, if you ever need a recommendation, these are the ones I will sort through to find a show you may like. Who knows? Perhaps one of them will be the perfect show for you.
3★ - Decent: Perhaps the visuals are bland. Perhaps the premise is uninspired. Perhaps the sound design is lacking. The shows that I give a 3 to are never really bad - but I cannot, in good faith, say that they are good, either. The vast majority of the anime here are just satisfactory, with one, or perhaps many, fatal flaws that hold the show back from greatness.
2★ - Bad: If a 3 star show can still be enjoyable, a 2 star show begins to edge closer to the "unwatcheable" end of the scale. Many of these are shows that I have had to force myself to finish watching, with several aspects that I could not stand. Very rarely, though, are they completely irredeemable.
1★ - Shitter: After I finish the last episode of a show, I like to sit back and think over what I just watched. Sometimes, I pick up on themes, details, or hints that did not make sense until the show is viewed in its entirety. Other times, I fondly remember the jaw-dropping visuals, or perhaps the mind-blowing music, or the insane feeling of hype at the peak of a fight scene. On rare occasions, I sit back and think to myself that I should have gone outside and been productive instead. These anime are, for me at least, utterly boring and complete wastes of time.Dropped - Lost interest for the time being, but may return in the future.
On Hold - Content itself has paused production (ie manga that has yet to be translated, with no predictable schedule).* Please note that I will only ever rate anime/manga that I have fully completed
** My manga scores tend to be a lot more flexible and forgiving than my anime scores, but generally follow the same trains of thought

Most images and GIFs I use are taken and edited by me. As for the rest, the source will be linked to at the bottom of the post.How do you edit your images and video?
Usually I use GIMP for both images and GIFs, but when I don’t have access to my computer (which is often), I run images through waifu2x, and I edit GIFs using EZGIF.
As for MP4s, I generally just use DaVinci Resolve or Kapwing.Fight me!
